Users have to manually activate the DDR4 settings instead of them ideally being read out and activated automatically.

UEFI demystified
"Gnb" stands for Graphics north bridge being part of the auxiliary chip set. The QR-barcode in UEFI promising details on any particular setting merely is a link to the mainboard manual. That manual does not elucidate on UEFI settings, however. |

Board model: X570 Creator
BIOS version: 3.50 CPU: Ryazen 3950X, and 5950X RAM: Corsair Vengeance CMK32GX4M2D3600C18 Notes: On BIOS 2.0 this worked great with the XMP profile. On BIOS 3.50 in preparation for 5950X CPU upgrade, the system failed when under memory stress. I was able to manually set DRAM to 3400 / 1700, and clocks 18-22-22-22 and have a stable system. If I try to manually clock to 3666, the motherboard will not power on. After 3 failures it defaults to base speed. I was able to recover to 3400 / 1700. The voltage on XMP was AUTO. On all manual settings I use 1.35 volts. |

Mobo: X570 Aqua CPU: 3950x RAM: 4 x 8GB G,Skill Trident Z Royal F4-3600C14Q-32GTRSB BIOS: 3.50 Its been almost a week now running at @3600 profile specs not random reboots as was experienced with 3.40. I have not tried to OC yet since I am getting the same performance @3600 on 3.50v as I was on @3800 on 3.30v Also worth mentioning, I am able to to OC the 3950x to 4.4Ghz at 1.25v after vdroop whereas on 3.30v I needed 1.30v-1.32v after vdroop to run 4.4ghz on LLC, R23, tested.

BETA L2.04 took 3 days before the keyboard was not detected on a cold boot. I think this happens more often when a device is also connected on the front USB3 onboard connector. |

Have you tried running your RAM at default XMP profile and then see if you still have USB issues? |

I may try but i have no stability problems at all anymore and i don't see a warning anywhere that says USB doesn't work correctly when the RAM is overclocked. Edit: On intel i had AVX offset in the BIOS. Any ideas how to handle multi core AVX sessions? I have a flac encoder with AVX optimization and using 20 threads bangs at 90°C pretty fast using only 142W without additional PBO limits. Apps like handbrake video encoding using AVX run around 80°C here. This forum is only reachable for me a few hours a day here from germany. Am i alone with this? |

Hello, since I installed the beta bios of the ASRock b550 PG Velocita, I can't boot into Windows anymore without any problems. And if I get to the login screen, the PC just restarts after I logged in.
Is it possible to downgrade a bios or is there a new beta bios you can install? |

Havw you tried to clear the BIOS and gave it reset to default values? And also set your memory to default, not XMP. You can do any tweaking after you have a stable sudtem.

After 4 days running original XMP 3200 i didn't have a single USB detach. It still may come though. So how is RAM overclocking influencing USB capabilities? Is it a limit of the CPU, Chipset, RAM or bad BIOS code? I really want to understand this but have no idea where to start. For CPU there are changes in Fabric, SOC and VDDG voltages. Can it be a critical RAM value or voltage? I hope someone knows better than me. |
