unfortunately i did not see your post before doing what i did. I went a purchased a Matisse CPU and stand alone GPU just to update my BIOS, and then returned the hardware.
Though, i would be more than happy to try this method out on the next BIOS revision. Hopefully ASRock will come up with a better solution for the masses. |

Dear Kevschu,
Thank you for the posting. For Picasso CPU updating BIOS to support Cezanne CPU, we would like to provide a BIOS update tool for you. Please download the tool package from following link and refer to the SOP in it to update the BIOS to try. X570M Pro4 BIOS Update Tool: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FvlRK_g2BYMG90gufNgrsjP-BGk2z4kv/view?usp=sharing Thank you, Best wishes, ASRock TSD |

try bios reset and booting with just one stick of ram
mine will not boot after a bios clear or flash with both sticks ever since i installed my 3800x was fine and still is with a 1700 if it does boot finally set the ram speed manually reboot and then add the extra stick of ram |

Have you tried just leaving it on for the RAM to train properly? Sometimes when
you install a new CPU it can take a while for the system to train your RAM (the looping). I had a similar experience with my Threadripper system, it looped for about 5 mins before it eventually posted. Bare in mind your memory controller is on the CPU itself, not the motherboard. |

Trying to upgrade from a Ryzen 3 3200G to a Ryzen 5 5600G and when doing so, the system turns on, though the screen remains black and then the system will reboot. This loop continues indefinitely.
If I put the 3200G back in, everything works fine. I've tried BIOS Versions 3.40, 3.50 and 3.60 without success. Each time making sure to return the BIOS to defaults through BIOS menu, and I've done the same by clearing the CMOS with the jumper. |
