I hope issue will be fixed soon. I also want to install ESXi to my newly built Deskmini X300 with 5700G APU.

hello again I booted the device with Ubuntu live cd and I am attaching the screenshot of the acpi error in the kernel logs. 1. ESXI won't open I tried proxmox it gives acpi error but it works I didn't see any problem in windows A person on the forum who has the same problem with 4th generation CPUs says that when they change the bios to 1.40, the problem disappears. Thanks. Screen Shot |

Were you able to try a live Ubuntu installation?
I have some follow up questions for you: 1. Does the OS function at all or is the system inoperable? 2. If the system is functional, does this error occur after an S3 mode event? Given you need 1.70 to run your CPU I assume others successfully running under BIOS 1.40 are using older generation CPUs. If you have any idea what CPUs they are running this info would be helpful to ASRock. Thanks for your cooperation and patience |

1. AMD RYZEN 7 5700G 2. X300-STX P1.70 3. I did not make a special bios setting, people are using it in the 1.40 version bios without any problems. 4. VMWARE ESXI 6.7 and 7.02 5. Failed to ititialize acpi subsystem : Failure Screen Board screen shot ESXI Error Screen Shot |

Guys, please provide the following information and I will forward your issue
to my contacts in ASRock's tech support department: 1. CPU 2. BIOS version(s) you have tested 3. Any settings you have tried changing in the BIOS 4. OS version 5. The exact error message you are encountering Also, if you could try running Ubuntu on a bootable flash drive and see if you get ACPI issues with that. If Ubuntu does not experience the issue then the problem is likely on ESXi's end and more specific information may be needed. |
