Taichi A320M-DG Motherboard
Threadripper 1950x
32GB
1070ti Graphics
CyberPowerPC Built

The computer was hung with a stopped clock display when I came back. I shut it down and restarted it. It looks like it starts up for about 15 seconds and then goes into a stop & start loop. Never booting and does not boot the DVD drive.

The only A320M-DG on asrocks website doesnt support the threadripper line of processors, its an am4 socketed board.

How many times did it go through the boot loop.. could it be doing the memory training cycle?

I have a small A320M-DGS box that was supplied by CyberPowerPC holding books, etc. from the build of the system. It was not big enough to hold the Taichi motherboard so I always wondered.

Let's say for sure that I have a Taichi X399 motherboard, that I had to RMA return to ASRock in April because of a firmware problem.

I don't know how to check for any memory problems. Should I remove some sets (there is 4 x 4GB & 2 x 8GB)?

Eureka!!

I looked at my motherboard and when it was booting it stopped at C0. I removed the 2 x 8GB boards and up it came.

Thanks.
