If possible I would return it, just to be on the safe side. There is no sense in
taking risks with new hardware IMO, the worst that can happen is that they test
it and tell you it's working fine then send it back to you. Good luck.

Do you mean it only posts after removing the CMOS battery? It shouldn't be doing that.
If you are removing and replacing the CMOS battery try using the board without
it installed. If the board works fine without the battery then the battery could
be damaged/faulty and causing issues.

Hello everyone,

Glad to be here.

I am having a problem with my build. All brand new, no second hand.

Specs :

mobo asrock 560 Pro4
cpu intel i510400f
ram 1 dimm 8GB ddr4 gskill
power coolmaster 850+ gold

i am trying to "intstall" two gpus on the board. 3070+1080

I have tried all the possible combinations but nothing came through.

1 pcie slot 3070/1080 the build boots only after the battery is off.

3 pcie slot 3070/1080 the build boots only after the battery is off.

no boot with the gpus on the boad at the same time. not even the mouse and keyboard are getting a power on!!

upgraded the bios to 2.1, nothing again.

still trying to figure it out.

any help would be usefull.

thanks in advance!!
