Hi Folks,
ever since I've flashed the latest 3.30 Bios on my X99 Extreme 4 Mothernoard I get repeated the following error (I also suspect its responsible for some System freezes since I've made the update):

I get this error for each CPU core. I've rolled back to 2.10 where this issue is not occuring.
My System specs are the following:
  • X99 Extreme 4
  • Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-5820K CPU @ 3.30GHz (no overclocking at all)
  • 2x Sapphire Fury X
  • Corsair DDR4 4X4 GB 2133 MHz
  • Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 10586) (10586.th2_release_sec.160328-1908)

I have exactly the same problem as you described, same Windows OS and same event 54 for every Logicall Processor in my system, except i lost a new PSU recently (7 days old) with this system and don't know if this is something related to this error (i think is not related but who knows)

Windows 10 PRO 64 Bits
I7 5820K
X99 Xtreme4
64 GB DDR4 G.Skill Ripjaws
System not overclocked

So, you roll back to 2.10 bios and the error is gone?.

Any advice from ASRock?.

Yeah simple rollback to 2.10 and the error is gone. As soon as I flash 3.30 and start Windows the Eventlog is filled with this error, doesn't matter which inf driver is installed. Back to 2.10 everything is allright.

I posted specifically here to let AsRock know about this issue, are here officials reps active on this board?

I have the same experience with ASRock X99 Extreme6 motherboard with BIOS v3.0. This version of BIOS has note in description - "Support 2016 Q2 coming new CPU".
Strange thing is, that in Windows 7 Pro with same version of BIOS (v3.0) is no such errors in Windows Event Viewer -> Windows logs -> System. Errors appear only in Windows 10.

Greetings, this is ASRock Technical Support.

We are sorry and we know that everybody is waiting for the solution.
Considering another BIOS modification, we have to release the BIOS after a complete test.
Actually this error message is NOT a critical issue that will not affect normal application.

Anyway, we will release the BIOS ASAP.

Thank you for your patience.

Kindest Regards,
ASRock TSD
