Hi. After three weeks of using the motherboard (B650M-HDV/M.2), I started having internet problems: every 3-5 minutes, under heavy load (e.g. gaming), my internet goes down for a few seconds. I tried installing a clean Windows and it didn't help. I reset my BIOS to default settings and it didn't help. Of course I turned off all power saving settings in the network adapter settings and installed the latest drivers and it didn't help. Than I connected another PC with the same ethernet cable and everything works fine. I bought a USB ethernet adapter and everything works fine. I have concluded that the problem is with the motherboard, but I really don't want to return it to the store. Are there any other options left to fix the internet problem? Thanks.

Updating to the current version of the bios (2.10) didn't fix anything. Does this mean that the problem is in the hardware of the motherboard itself?

Same exact problem here. Even installing the latest Realtek drivers from RT website and the last available bios.

The chip is probably faulty on this specific board. Too bad, because it's a very good one.

Yeah, that's too bad. I'm still continuing to install the latest updates, hoping that might fix this problem.

If the motherboard is great for everything, except the internet connection, I'd buy a discrete internet card (they are not expensive).

Sure it is, but the point is that for a $170 board i'd least expect a fully working ethernet port. The problem seems to solve itself with a simple reboot but still, that's heavily frustrating and also, why should i use a PciE slot for an ethernet card, when i have an integrated one? :|

Hello!

I agree with you 100% that the integrated slot should work.
However, your other option is to RMA the motherboard, and by doing that, you'll have to tear down the components of your PC, then wait for a replacement, then re-build your PC with another motherboard.
That's a lot of hassle, by my opinion.
