What video card are you running? For testing purposes, A) Do you have another video card you can test with? or B) Have you tried your video card in a different PCIe slot?

TRX40 Creator with bios 1.7 and Threadripper 3960x.
Issue: Bios screen is not showing on display. The screen stays black during boot until Windows login screen appears. I can hit F2 at the time when keyboard lights up. It seems the system is entering bios correctly but just not showing it on screen (led on mainboard shows A6 or Ab which indicates system is in bios). I tried cmos reset etc. I tried switching from DVI to HDMI I tried different displays Result is always the same. Asrock boot logo, and "enter bios message" are not showing up. So, I now have a highend system which I canot adjust, because I cannot see the bios :-( Any tip from the community available? |
