I am trying to reproduce the failing of the usb since i disabled the usb power settings... if it fails again i will try with one stick of ram and without the bluetooth.

out of luck, it happened again, i am going to try disconecting a secondary hdd that i have and try only with the main ssd, and with only one stick of ram, and without the bluetooth. 

i will report shortly

it just happened to me again!! i just unplugued now all the front usb (2.0 and 3.0), i do not know if it is a bad connection that is causing the problem... i am running out of ideas.

maybe the psu is failing or the motherboard is faulty?

still nothing, the usb stopped working again with all the connectors unplugged.

by the way, one thing i noticed...in the morning when i first boot the pc it works fine for a long period of time, later when the usb freezes for the first time it continues happening more frequently.

could it be the psu?

i have the same board and have that update installed, i am going to try uninstalling that update to see if it solves the problem...
