I have Taichi X470 with Ryzen 2600x and Bios P3.50, everything works good. I bought Ryzen 3600x and cant get post - nothing.
I tried this one - X470 Taichi - BetaBIOS 3.73. I am able to get to the BIOS now, but PC doesn´t boot to Windows - still loading. I took my second NVME disk out, I got the windows message about repair, but Windows still doesn´t start. I have back my 2600x inside now and will be waiting for a functional BIOS. Pretty sad when the officially CPU support list of X470 Taichi says "Ryzen 3000 since P3.40"... |

Try to install clean Windows. You cannot try to boot the system installed on another configuration

Why not? Its just an AMD processor switch. I have a test SSD with WIN10 and I use it for a lot of computers with various config. But I cant install system to the disk which its not correct recognize.

Bios 3.73 refused to drive memory categorically in any modes. Rolled back to 3.71 - the memory runs on 3733 cl 16 with a delay of 64.8 - 65.2

@eviljack my previous processor is Ryzen 1700X After changing only the processor to Ryzen 3700X I had problems running Windows (then motherboard Gigabyte b350 Gaming 3). Reinstalling the system helped. I also thought so well that replacing the processor should not cause problems. But in my case there was a problem ^^. That's why my suggestion is to try it on a clean system.
@ Sensaye63 is your motherboard ASRock X470 Taichi? Tests since yesterday and for now I do not see the difference :P Everything works beautifully as on L3.71 |

Ok, I will get a new NVME disk till Friday so I will try to install on it. But I think it is a problem with NVME, not with Windows.

Yes it seems so that your second VME isn't be detected. But it also seems that your installation on the first NVME has a dependency to the second drive. Can you start the OS with Ryzen 2600x and the first NVME only? BTW: I moved my NVME SSD from a X370 mainboard with 2700X CPU to another with X570 and 3900X CPU without problems. Ok, before moving i deinstalled the old mainboard HW specific driver (second LAN port and WiFi/BT), because these are different on the new board. On the first startup i just got an update message for the chipset driver and everthing is running. Even no bad events could be seen in the event logs. |

Yes. X470 Taichi. Strange, my PC starts only at 2133. On all other options, even before the BIOS is not loaded. I'll wait for the next build

There is no dependency I installed Windows with one NVME connected only. I bought the second one half year after installation. Yes, with Ryzen 2600x Windows starts with the first NVME only without problem. |
