Most of the key complaints seem to have been addressed by now on the current generation.
Hopefully now we will start seeing these updates filter down to older generations
more frequently/quickly. It has to be noted that ASRock is not as large as it's direct
competitors and that impacts the resources they can assign to updates. I have been
using ASRock for many years now and once I accepted that they can take a little
longer sometimes to catch up, I have had no issues. A smaller business model with
ASRock typically equates to savings for us. It does not come without a cost however.

I've got a B450M Pro4 with R5 3600. Very nice combination that was very stable on XMP settings on BIOS 3.60. No further overclocking required.

We've now received BIOS 3.90, and I updated mine no problems (to XMP 1800/3600 mem timings). However, after one day, it became quite unstable, and unable to boot to XMP levels, with CMX16GX4M2D3600C18 sticks (2). No hardware was added in that time. This is a dual-boot system, with Linux Mint 19.3 (newly added from 19.2) as the base system (ie it loads a Linux Boot Menu and provides the option to boot into Linux or Windows10). The unstable system never got to display this boot menu. Worked ok at 1066/2133.

I've had to revert to 3.60.

Reflashing the RGB caused the system crashed after 10 seconds. I hope it didn't mess up something anymore. I flashed the bios to 3.90 and still no RGB working properly. I'll just have to use it with the RGB turned off. I hope to see an update on Polychrome.

I have the Ryzen 3900X running on a B450 Pro4, but the addressable RGB is only working with static colors. It is connected to the addressable RGB header and not the normal headers. I hope there is going to be a fix for this soon.

AMD Ryzen Master doesn't work after updating B450 Pro4 bios to 3.90 and upgrading to 3900X. It says "Ryzen Master Driver not installed properly. Driver not installed." and won't launch. Is anyone else having this problem with the same board and CPU or any Ryzen 3rd gen CPU?

ok, this is not acceptable, bought a R5 3600 and paired it with a b450m pro, as i heard this is the latest gen 2 platform, but did not expect that there are still kinks and yet they are selling this board.

sleep does not work and bios settings are reset to default when power is off. Am already on the latest 3.9 bios

Did you update your chipset drivers and Ryzen Master too? I recall something like this happened to me after a bios and cpu upgrade.

6.20 available for AB350 Pro 4.

But it says its 1003 ABBA? Not 1004B.
