Thanks I just updated my chipset drivers and got Ryzen Master working. My temps look good and match what I was seeing in other apps and bios.
Does the B450 with 3900X run cooler compared to X570 boards because the B450 handles tasks a little slower? My stress temp results with a 3900X on ASRock B450 Pro4 seem much lower than what I see what other people are getting with 570X board. Cinebench R20 it reaches 69C max. Prime95 maxes at 67C, but the cores stay around 3849 MHz at start and slowly dropping under 3800 MHz after 10 minutes. Looks like Cinebench reaches higher cores speed so it gets slightly hotter. I'm cooling with a Deepcool Castle 360 in a Fractal Design Meshify C. |

Is it possible to go from beta 6.27 bios to official 6.20? I don't have problems with 6.27, just asking.

Hey great, I suspected the chipset drivers were the issue glad to hear that was the case. I wouldn't think chipset would have much effect on CPU temps, at least I've never seen anything that suggests that. |

I'm also curious about flashing back to an older bios to try to get my RGB working properly again. 3.90 to 1.80 seems so far back and I would have to go back to 2nd Gen Ryzen. I know it does say you can not flash back certain points.

B450M Pro4 P3.90 and Ryzen 9 3900X
I have some serious problems, often after reboot I get a blue screen. Also I had problems with the sounddriver, wouldn't work anymore and other things. I think there are less problems after deactivating the fTPM. |

Things seems go fairly smooth except the RGB. I also gradually updated bios from one version to next to see if I could get the RBG working properly while I was still using the 2700X when I reached to 3.90. My bios settings are at default except for the fan settings. |

I had a B450M Pro4 with the same problem at a much lower bios version (I think it happened was within the last month.) I'm not sure what it was exactly but I suspect there was a conflict with an OS update that was recently pushed on Windows 10 ver18.xx and the chipset driver that was installed at the time. Since I didn't need to recover anything I ended up just wiping the system and fresh OS install to windows 10 ver19.06 with newest chipset driver and bios p3.50 seemed to have solved it for me. |

I think I get much less bluescreens after reboot when I don't disable the Swapfile in Windows. Was not a problem before... |

Currently I have Ryzen 5 2600 on b450m pro4 and Ryzen 7 3800x on x470 Master SLI/ac. With the b450 I let it lag behind in all driver and bios updates since about Q1 2019 so it would not surprise to me the possibility MS pushed out an update for the Zen2 cpu's that might have been incompatible with an older chipset driver. On my x470 I've been keeping up with chipset drivers for the most part including bios updates, and everything has been mostly good. In the past I have disabled the swap file in Win7 with no issues however I don't bother with it anymore cause I always run dual storage drives now and simply offload the swap to the 2nd device instead. What kind of blue screen errors are you getting? Do you have XMP or ram overclock in place? Have you tried memtest86 on your system? Have you tried a fresh test Win10 install using a different disk? |

Hi everyone,
I've putting together a new desktop with the ASRock b450 fatality ITX with a ryzen 3600x. I was wondering if the new motherboards that are sold come with the updated bios for the ryzen 3000 cpus or will I have to manual update it myself? |
