I think I did. I gave up and am at the beach for a month! The tab didn't work either. I'll buy a wired mouse before I get back home to the problem. I'm about to upgrade my system and do not want to do anything till I can get to thisbios screen.
Thanks
STEVE

Are you using the back panel "black" colored USB for the wired keyboard ? If you can get into the bios you should be able to Tab around and hit Enter on items, the arrow keys also work to change/scroll thru certain items. Page 57 of the manual (downloaded pdf) describes what keys do what.
Wireless mice rarely work in a BIOS because no dongle driver support...

Steve: Try the "Restart to UEFI" utility on the support page, it will bypass the Fast Boot option

I cannot enter into Boot Mode (bios). Windows 10 starts too fast. Tried wired keyboard.. still cannot get the bios screen to come up.

Thanks RLGL. From that website I actually clicked update now which downloaded a wizard which did everything in the background.

Here's a direct link to the tool: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=799445

My Windows 10 will no longer update.

I looked at the support page (https://asrock.com/mb/Intel/X99%20Extreme4/#Download) and it says that it only "Support Microsoft® Windows® 10 64-bit OS up to RS3 version (1709)"

That version is 18 months old!

I am currently on the 1809 release which is newer than the last supported version by Asrock. What's broken or out of date that is stopping the upgrade?

How can a motherboard get out of date so fast with something so fundamental?
