I've read on reddit that some other people that had the issue got a reply from asrock that the cpu must be defective. Absolute bullsh*t.

Fix the damn bios asrock, stop blaming others.

Is there a beta bios floating around anywhere with the newer agesa?

That is, what the the support also told me, but a defective CPU out of the box is extremely rare.

There is a ram bug/restriction in AGESA 1.0.0.1 which prevents using higher voltages than 1.2V for it at cold boot. Most DDR4 RAM on the market with clockspeed above 2666MHz is OC-Ram with 1.35V. That can be one reason.

My Fatal1ty X370 Gaming X with gskill F4-3200C14D-16GFX (3200mhz) only boots properly if I set memory clock speed to 3066 MHz or lower with 1.35v. Maybe that helps.

When my b450 itx boots eventually it resets ram to 2133. I reset to 3000 profile and boot again. Asrock. Pull your finger out of please and sort this out.

The next time I buy a motherboard it won't be Asrock.

Sad day when they can't provide a stable platform.

They need to get the house in order for the long time supportive customers.

Not a good business model.
