My 3700x seems to work fine. Idle temperature seems to depend upon your Power Plan in Windows. I have temp below 50C on power saving and around 57C on Ryzen mode. I'm using a 2012 Corsair H60. I don't experience any issues with reboot before Post nor having memory issues (16GB Crucial, Bios 3.50) as the system runs them as XMP settings 3600.
On the other hand, the other board (I have 2, same BIOS) is hosting a Ryzen 2700 and 64GB and I do have multiple reboot before getting to Windows however when I set up the memory at 3000, they stay this way according to CPUz. I'm thinking we are getting there with the BIOS but not quite there... Asrock we believe in you, you can do it! |

B450M Steel legend - BIOS v2.50 + Ryzen 3600
- Unable to boot Windows 10 from my SAMSUNG SM951 AHCI M.2 SSD (MZHPV256HDGL-000H1), it's recognised in the device storage list, but it's not listed in boot menu. CSM set to Dissabled, I can Install windows but there are no way to boot it. - Fantastic tuning are not working with DC fans, I you set a fan curve, when you complete the BIOS post and windows is loading, the fans always are working at full speed. |

I have the exact same setup, but none of my 3 NVME drives are detected in storage (Samsung 512GB 970 Pro, Samsung 500GB 970 Evo and Samsung PM961. It was only ever detected twice on an older BIOS and at that time it did load into Windows fine. After powering off the NVME drive hasn't shown again. Fantastic tuning doesn't work for me either. Fans are maxed out and driving me nuts since I have 5 of them. |

I was hoping someone could tell me whether an issue I'm having is more likely to be a hardware or software issue. I have an R5 3600 and a B450M Steel Legend, and all the fans (both case fans and CPU fan) spin at full speed when booting or waking the machine from sleep mode, but then spin down after a second or 2 to a low-power state (in which even the LEDs go off, which is particularly strange), and refuse to spin up at any other time.
This is particularly troublesome because my CPU can reach 95C at full load, and the CPU fan never increases its speed to help cool it. I only have bios 2.1, so I'm hoping maybe this is the issue? Or is it more likely that the board is defective? (I'm using the stock cooler, by the way, if that makes a difference) I know there have been a lot of issues with the Ryzen 3000 CPUs, so I was hoping somebody else might've had this one? |

Is Asrock going to fix the Memory issues with the 370 series boards or no?

Motherboard: X470 Master SLI
BIOS: 3.40(SVM enable) CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x(with GAMER STORM CASTLE 240 RGB) Memory: 4x16GB Corsair CMW32GX4M2C3200C16 Vengeance RGB PRO @ 2666 cl16 Power Supply: CORSAIR HX Series HX1200 CP-9020140-NA 1200W GPU: HIS Radeon RX 590 IceQ X2 OC 8GB M2_1 : Samsung 970 EVO 500GB(NVME) M2_2 : WD Black 500GB(NVME) SATA1 : ADATA SU800 500GB When BIOS 3.30 is used, it is 2993 cl18 even in memory full bank situation(not XMP), not even after BIOS update. Should we look at it as a memory compatibility issue? Or is it a matter of SVM options? 1.0.0.3ABB version of BIOS is waiting. |
