I'm using a wireless kb and mouse to access BIOS on my B450 ITX with F2 or delete. I would think that ASRock uses the same keys on all their mobos.

Hello :)

I have an issue with the last bios (2.70) on this components

MB : asrock B450M Steel Legend
CPU : ryzen 5 3600X
DDR4 : G.Skill 2x8Go Trident Z F4-3600C16D-16GTZKW

The XMP profile isn't running when activated (memory is still at 2133Mhz)... With previous bios (2.60) it worked well..

thx

Hi, this is a link to a file, containing I'm not sure what - but looks like an x470 firmware file? (I'm on x570).

Did you mean to post the file, or a link to a reddit thread?

saw that vid..but thank you for taking the time to post...

1. Most early x570 boards look like they were going to implement TB, but didn't (as they have non implemented TB Headers on the Mobo). The chipset is TB ready.

2. The Asrock x570 Creator is proudly hailed as Thunderbolt compatible (https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/X570%20Creator/index.asp).

I actually had it sort of working. i.e. DisplayPort Out of GTX into Mobo. TB From Mobo to Monitor -- and I can get 4K working. Displayport direct to monitor gives me 5k (well, it's actually a 4.5k monitor).

But try as I might, the TB route won't allow me to get the 5120x2160 resolution...and shows the monitor as a 4K model. Tried with different cables etc.. Still no go.

The Thunderbolt USB problem may be a separate but annoying thing.
I suspect it's an early implementation/teething problem -- but there don't seem to be many (any) early adventurers to compare notes with.

Thanks again.

- 3900x CPU
- RTX 2080 Ti GPU
- 64GB Ram (Corsair)
- x570 Creator
- LG 34WK95U-W 34" 5K Thunderbolt Display (with USB Hub)

I run the displayport cable out of the RTX 2080 Ti and into the displayport in of the Mobo Backpanel. Then the Thunderbolt cable from TB on Mobo Backpanel to Monitor.

Two problems:

  1. TB Connection won;t drive monitor at 5K (5120x2160). Direct DisplayPort to Monitor connection works fine.
  2. TB sees the USB Hub on the monitor, but then reports an error with the USB device.

So - am running latest asrock bios and drivers from web site. So stuck.
Appreciate any advice I can get.

This guy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfnNtkju-lM) seems to say that you need to have a thunderbolt expansion card for it to work, and AMD systems aren`t natively compatible.

Hi! Can someone point me to a beta BIOS with ECC support on X470 Taichi? I heard about 3.62 on Reddit, but I've searched few hours on the forum, no luck.
Thanks
