Hello guys, I've started to build my new kit, and I choosed a Ryzen 5 3600, a Asrock B450M Steel Legend, and 16GB RAM DDR4 HYPERX 2400MHZ, since the start I looked for a lot of videos on youtube, and reviews...
Then It came the day that my pieces arrived at my place, I just build up the pieces, the motherboard has a sticker on the box saying it was ready for Ryzen 3000 generation, so at that I was ok.
At the first start, the computer didn't showed no video, with a GTX 1060 6GB, I tested every way that could be solving the problem and no results, so I asked to a friend to loan for me a Ryzen 7 2700x, so maybe I could see if the bios was ok, then it came with a 2.30 bios, after the 2.10 was needing to support the new generation. I started to believe that could be a failure of the new processor I bought, but it wasn't too, the processor worked fine on a B450M MSI Gaming Pro Carbon, so now I need to know a reason to my problem, because lots of people in websites are buying R5 3600 + Steel Legend, and they doesn't have any problem.
Could be a bios problem? Or a Hardware detection problem? I need to know solutions, so I will have to send it back and buy a MSI for me too, I wasn't expecting to stay 2 days trying to resolve this.

Are you saying you used the 2700x to upgrade the bios to 2.30, then re-retried your 3600? So no post with 3600 and v2.30? Did you follow the instructions - after flashing, reboot, enter BIOS, reset to defaults, reboot? I always then power off and clear CMOS via jumper to be sure, but probably not necessary.

I understand when using the 2700x he could see that the board already came with v2.30.
After the CPU change to the 3600 i also suggest to power off and clear CMOS via jumper like described in the manual. And then starting with only one RAM stick in slot A2. And wait up to 10 minutes after power on.

If still no success i would RMA it too.

No results, I guess maybe it is a MB HW problem, I'll just wait until the week starts to start the procedures...

If it goes to RMA the problem is that I have no other board to continue using my PC
