Hi All! I hope someone is willing to help me with the following;

Problem: new memory (gskill ripjaws F4-3200C16Q-64GVK DDR4-3200 16GBx4 CL16-18-18-38) only runs at 2133mhz instead of 3200Mhz when XMPprofile is selected in bios.

I upgraded from 16gb fast g.skill (F4-3600C15D-16GTZ 2x8GB)) to the above slower but bigger set. The faster 16GB set, when XMP was selected in the bios, took the proper settings and performed at 3600Mhz.

I have removed the onboard battery to reset the cmos.

I am working on bios version 4.20 with a i7 at 3.6Ghz. Nothing overclocked.

Who is willing to help me a hand ? The memory installed is in the memory QVL list of asrock.

Regards from Holland,

Bart

I have the same MB and memory and it is running at 3400. Have you set XMP to XMP2 in the BIOS?

Dear Bartrap,

Thank you for choosing ASRock.

Regarding your case, we provide some suggestion to try.
1.     Reinstall the memory.
2.     Install one stick memory at each slot to try.
3.     Install each stick at B2 slot to check if all four DIMMs can work at 3200 as well.

Thank you!
Yours truly,
ASRock TSD
