Hello,
My b450 k4 have a memory problem. I install two a kit (8G*2) memory but not working in dual channel, it appears only single mode. Check in win10 OS also say single, why? If I need to return the board or the memory? Thank you for the help. |

Dear Atheist,
Greetings, this is ASRock TSD. Regarding this question, we provide some suggestions for verifying: 1. To activate dual channel mode, it is required to install identical memory (the same brand, speed, size and chip-type) DDR4 DIMM pairs to A1/B1 or A2/B2 slot. 2. To make sure DRAM slots are all functioning, please install one memory to each DRAM slot by turns to verify. 3. Please re-install the CPU. 4. If possible, please change another CPU to verify since memory controller is built-in CPU. 5. If possible, please change another memory. Thanks! All the best, ASRock TSD |
