Hello everyone,

I recently updated my old computer with the following components:

- Motherboard Z390 PRO4
- Intel Core i7 9700K
- 2x8 GB Crucial 2400 MHz (BLS8G4D32AESBK)
- Samsung EVO 970 NVMe SSD (On slot M.2_1)

There are no other peripherals installed, no video card.
Everything works perfectly and the performance without any overclocking is excellent.

For some days, when the computer was turned on, the motherboard emits 5 beeps before the single normal beep during the post. But then the whole computer runs smoothly and Windows loads in less than 3 seconds.

Searching the net, I seemed to understand that 5 beeps correspond to a generic "CPU Error". Thinking about management problems of the 9th series processor I updated the bios to version 4.40 but the problem continues to arise.

Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help

Dear FirefoxSystem,

Thanks for posting.

Regarding your question, try loading BIOS to default and clear CMOS to try if the symptom will still appear.

With thanks,

By loading the default settings in the BIOS the problem is gone.
I hadn't done it believing that after the BIOS update this would happen automatically.

Thank you very much
