you didnt see the battery as its hidden
![]() its not the conventional desktop button battery in a holder its the laptop type look by your pcie16 slot you will see a white connector with a red and a black cable this is the power cablees fromt the battery that is glued to the nichicon block by the rear I/O panel disconnect this , unplug the power from the wall ,and press and hold the pc case power button for 30 seconds this should discharge the board and reset the bios to defaults at best guess i think your problem was maybe an old gpu that dosnt support fast boot (whatever way its something you have in system that dosnt ,so best leave it off in future) |

Hi folks,
I bought a new B450 Gaming-ITXac board. After installing everything correctly the mainboard/pc was just fine. Then I thought ultra fast boot sounds like a really nice feature. I turned it on and after the trouble started: The pc restarted and freezes at the "asrock screen" where I can choose the different options like F2 to enter Bios or F11 to enter Boot Screen. No matter what I hit, nothing happens. I tried to clear the CMOS (like the manual suggests), by turning the power off and connecting the CMOS pins for 5 seconds. Unfortunately this didn't change the behaviour. I did not saw an battery so maybe I forgot something to correctly reset the whole thing. Can anyone give me some hints? Theoretically I could also return the board, but I'm not giving up now. Thanks a lot in advance! Regards, Nickes |
