I own ASRock X570 Steel Legend for a week and now observe a problem.
When I playing games CPU will go over 90 degree and then throttle immediately.
Test Prime95 utility will fail, too. Is there any suggestion to improve or fix it for my board.
I just use default BIOS setting with clean Win10 system

Dear Oughlyn,

Greetings, this is ASRock TSD.

For your question, we provide some suggestions for verifying:

1. Please enter to BIOS setup and load BIOS default setting via [F9] key.
2. Under BIOS setup > H/W Monitor tab, please adjust the CPU fan to full speed to improve CPU heat dissipation.
3. Only install CPU, one stick memory, graphics card and system disk.
4. Install additional Chassis Fan to cool down the environment temperature of your chassis.
5. If possible, please install another CPU.
6. If possible, please re-install a clean Windows 10 OS.

Thanks!

All the best,
ASRock TSD

What CPU cooler are you using?
Did you use the pre-applied thermal compound or did you apply your own?
What is your case fan configuration (how many fans, intake/extraction)?
Is the cooler properly mounted?

There are many things that can cause high CPU temps, most of which have to do with
the cooler, thermal compound and airflow. If you are not sure how to set it up
you can look for a build guide for a high airflow system. There are plenty of
good ones out there
