Motherboard: X570 Steel Legend (no Wi-Fi)
BIOS version: 3.90 Update AMD AM4 AGESA Combo V2 PI 1.2.0.6b
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600X
RAM: Kingston HyperX Predator DDR4 RGB 3200MHz 16GB (2x8GB kit)

There are issues with this bios version. It's giving WHEA LOGGER EventID 18's (Processor Core) and hard reboots after an hour or sometimes after 2-6 hours or more while playing. So i'm waiting for 1.2.0.7 to appear so i can update it. Been looking for bios version update daily since it was released to other motherboards.

Board: A520M-HVS
BIOS version: 2.10 (Agesa 1.2.0.6b)
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600G
RAM: 2 x 8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 (single-rank)

Stable, no obvious problems noticed, but the usual strange behavior of 5 reboot loops directly after BIOS upgrade happened again.

I feel like it might be performing a bit slower than on BIOS 1.90 - at least I remember 7za benchmark (memory intensive) being better before, but I can't confirm 100% since I forgot to save benchmark results from before updating to BIOS 2.10.

I had the issue of stuck initial screen on first cold boot, then I had to do a quick power off/on reboots to finally load the OS.

Fix:
In my case I was able to fix the issue by enabling Secure boot. Now my OS loads first time from a cold boot.

To enable secure boot, please first disable CSM on Boot section of the bios. Then save and exit. And then enter again the bios to enable Secure Boot and save.

I understand CSM is related somehow to the graphics cards. I would suggest to add the graphics card to the description of the issue. Some old graphics can only run on CSM mode. In some Motherboards CSM might not appear.

Hope this helps others that had the same issue. Please post if it does.

Thnaks.

Thanks for this. I have the same problem, changed CSM and I will see what happens.

Half a year later i thinik the USB problem will never be fixed.
It became better but not fixed. Every few weeks my keyboard unregulary isn't detected on boot no matter what setting. Intel here i come again!

If an admin reads that please delete my acount. This is the most lame manufacturer forum ever. I already PMd an admin but never got a reaction.

Board model: X300TM-ITX
BIOS version: 1.20
CPU: Ryzen 5 PRO 4650G
RAM: 16Gb (2x8) 3200

Notes: Starting from CPU Temp 65C and up the Fan randomly starts rotating with maximum RPM for 1-2 seconds. The Fan behavior appears in all Fan operation modes, like silent mode, standard mode and manual curve mode. We use X300TM-ITX in our mini-PC design and it's working pretty well. But the Fan randomly activity really annoying. Maybe some BIOS settings adjustments can help to solve this issue? Thank you.

Board model: x370 taichi
BIOS version: 6.62 and 5.8
CPU: 3800x
RAM: Galax HOF4CXLBS3600K17LD162C

in correction to my post = 02 Aug 2021 at 3:15pm ==-> actually I was wrong, the singular parameter that I used wrong hence can't boot is CCD 1.05v, if 1.04v or under is used will boot OK, but normally this is 0.95v, so the 1.05v is a HARD-CAP limit, but without warning messages.

NEW NOTES: bios 6.62 tRRD_L is limited to 12 may be the culprit problem that cause loading XMP failure, hence secondaries timing failed and [auto adjusted] to none ????

Board model: X570M Pro4
BIOS version: L3.52 (AGESA 1.2.0.3 Patch C) (=3.60?)
CPU: 3900X
RAM: 2x16GiB G.SKILL F4-3200C14D-32GTZR

Notes:
Still no luck with default settings and the XMP profile at 3200 MHz.

All voltages and RAM timings match with the stable 2.60 version, except PREM_VDDCR_SOC.
PREM_VDDCR_SOC @ 2.60 - 1.045V
PREM_VDDCR_SOC @ 3.52 - 0.949V

I lack a BIOS option to set the PREM_VDDCR_SOC voltage (or I don't know how to unlock it) in both BIOS versions.
Would like to lower it to match 0.949V with the 2.60 version. Maybe that's the bugger?

I saw that option for example in the x570 Taichi BIOS:
Post from 'Rebooting problem with Asrock X570 Taichi'
Isn't that setting available for this board?

Under Linux I get the well known exceptions. I didn't wait for random reboots this time.
[Hardware Error]: Corrected error, no action required.

[Hardware Error]: Platform Security Processor Ext. Error Code: 62
[Hardware Error]: cache level: RESV, tx: INSN

16 months without a stable BIOS version.
I've bought the 3200 MHz kit to be in the well supported RAM frequency range. No fiddling, just defaults to avoid exactly problems like this. I'm not impressed.
