I may try but i have no stability problems at all anymore and i don't see a warning anywhere that says USB doesn't work correctly when the RAM is overclocked.

Edit:
On intel i had AVX offset in the BIOS. Any ideas how to handle multi core AVX sessions?
I have a flac encoder with AVX optimization and using 20 threads bangs at 90°C pretty fast using only 142W without additional PBO limits.
Apps like handbrake video encoding using AVX run around 80°C here.

This forum is only reachable for me a few hours a day here from germany. Am i alone with this?

My generic Fujitsu Siemens USB keyboard already was 2 times not detected on bootup since the 2.00 release. I have to shutdown and start again. A reboot is not enough.
Ryzen Master still shows the wrong value for VDDCR if set in UEFI -> OC Tweaker\External Voltage Settings

I quote myself here because i have to add my USB MX-518 mouse hung itself 2 times since the 2.00 update. It stutters and shortly after losses the key associations done in the gaming software.
It is 2021 and USB simply being broken in a mainstream product is a bad joke.
I regret switching to this AMD crap. I have no idea how i will be able to sell this board with this build in errors.

BETA L2.04 took 3 days before the keyboard was not detected on a cold boot.
I think this happens more often when a device is also connected on the front USB3 onboard connector.

Have you tried running your RAM at default XMP profile and then see if you still have USB issues?

Mobo: X570 Aqua
CPU: 3950x
RAM: 4 x 8GB G,Skill Trident Z Royal F4-3600C14Q-32GTRSB
BIOS: 3.50

Its been almost a week now running at @3600 profile specs not random reboots as was experienced with 3.40. I have not tried to OC yet since I am getting the same performance @3600 on 3.50v as I was on @3800 on 3.30v

Also worth mentioning, I am able to to OC the 3950x to 4.4Ghz at 1.25v after vdroop whereas on 3.30v I needed 1.30v-1.32v after vdroop to run 4.4ghz on LLC, R23, tested.

Unable to run basic 14-16-16-32-48-1T @3800 1:1:1 ratio as previously on 1.71 and 3.30 BIOS versions that are able run 14-15-12-26-38-1T @3800 1:1:1 with even extreme sub-timings. After signing into the Windows account, even during idle, would get random black screens with reboots.

Had to low speed down to 3600mhz 1:1:1

Board model: X570 Creator
BIOS version: 3.50
CPU: Ryazen 3950X, and 5950X
RAM: Corsair Vengeance CMK32GX4M2D3600C18

Notes: On BIOS 2.0 this worked great with the XMP profile. On BIOS 3.50 in preparation for 5950X CPU upgrade, the system failed when under memory stress. I was able to manually set DRAM to 3400 / 1700, and clocks 18-22-22-22 and have a stable system. If I try to manually clock to 3666, the motherboard will not power on. After 3 failures it defaults to base speed. I was able to recover to 3400 / 1700. The voltage on XMP was AUTO. On all manual settings I use 1.35 volts.

UEFI demystified

"Gnb" stands for Graphics north bridge being part of the auxiliary chip set.

The QR-barcode in UEFI promising details on any particular setting merely is a link to the mainboard manual. That manual does not elucidate on UEFI settings, however.

Users have to manually activate the DDR4 settings instead of them ideally being read out and activated automatically.

B450 boards have HDMI sound device and AC97 sound device.

in UEFI those 2 sound devices are found in separate submenus.

Ideally, both sound devices should be in the same submenu to ease control of the sound setup.

Board model: B450M-HDV R4.0
BIOS version: 4.6
CPU: Picasso APU
RAM: 16

Notes:

4.6 has much improved over vendor-delivered 3.7 version, e.g. 1 mouse failed on me.

Users should be aware that a power cycle can take 40 seconds during which they might think that the mainboard has "frozen". Just be patient and wait until power-cycle does finish eventually!

UEFI explicitly states that - while in superfast boot mode - the user has to "clear CMOS" to force entry into UEFI menu in case of operating system not allowing to go to UEFI menu. Or in case of OS crash / BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death in MS OS).

Under Linux, I found this to be wrong. The DELete key even now will summon the UEFI menu, contrary to what UEFI itself states.

Board: B550 Steel Legend
BIOS version: 2.00
CPU: 5600x
RAM: 2x16GB HyperX 3466 CL16

1) missing "Spread Spectrum" (I want to turn off)
2) missung "CPU Core Ratio" (for all cores, without voltage change)
3) no separate "SATA Hot Plug" configuration for each device, only common for all devices (very inconvenient when one internal SATA HDD drive is always installed and an external SATA HDD drive is often connected)
