I just yesterday bought an X570M Pro4 with a 5600x and I used the instant flash to update it to the latest (3.3) since it had come with a 2.x version prior to Ryzen 5000 series. The update worked perfectly and it's running nicely.

Board model: X570 Extreme 4
BIOS version: 2.80 (Combo-AM4 V2 1.0.0.2)
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
RAM: 2x16GB (BLS16G4D32AESB.M16FE)

Works Great.

Board model: X570 Extreme 4
BIOS version: 3.50 (Combo-AM4 V2 1.1.0.0 patch D.) & 3.31 (ComboAM4v2 1.1.0.0 Patch C)
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
RAM: 2x16GB (BLS16G4D32AESB.M16FE)

UEFI update from 2.80 to 3.50 resulted in system continual random power downs within minutes of each other. Troubleshooting: I cut power to the mainboard and placed a jumper on the clear cmos jumper then loaded bios defaults. Set my XMP profile to what it was on 2.80 (which ran fine for many months without issue) however system continued to randomly power off / restart. Next, I downgraded to 3.31, performed all the same steps, however system was still not stable and same results. I reverted back to 2.80, set all settings consistent with 3.50 and 3.31 and no longer experience issues with random power downs and reboots. I would like to upgrade this board to utilize Ryzen 5000 processors while I have a 3600 installed (as believe this is the only way you can do it). Why are the UEFI updates causing such instability with my board when the settings / hardware are not changing between UEFI updates?

Guys I have the following config (also opened a topic for it, sorry):

Ryzen 5 1400(yeah the one that no one bought)
ASRock B450 Pro4

So, i'm using bios version P3.40 (as 3.50 was really broken,OC didn't even work with summit, so I managed to rollback to the P3.40) and I got an opportinity to get a 1600AF for only 58 bucks new. The problem is that the CPU support list says that this CPU is only supported with 3.90 BIOS and the P3.90 BIOS description says it's NOT RECOMENDED for summit, pinnacle or raven CPUS, afaik the 1600AF is a pinnacle CPU without its boosting features.

So, should I try using the 1600AF with the P3.40 BIOS or should I update it straight to the 3.90? Why this BIOS isn't recommended for pinnacle anyways?

Board: Creator x570
Cpu: 5900x
Bios: 3.30
Ram: Hyper X 3200mhz 2x32GB
GPU: Asus TUF 3090 OC
PSU: Corsair HX850i

Bios is stock except Ram manually set to 3200mhz and 1.350 Volts. Worked well for a few hours, but since then still random reboots under load and idle.
XMP on is not working overall.

Board model: ASRock B450 Pro4
BIOS version: 4.50, 4.20; 4.10 or earlier
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 3200G or AMD Ryzen 3 3350 Pro
RAM: Transcend JM3200HLE-16G 16 GB DDR4/3200 CL22 or ADATA 16GB DDR4/2666 AD4U2666716G19-SGN

Dear Sirs,

I have a very odd problem: with a 4 port PCI-E LAN card - Dell Intel I350-T4 QP Adapter the system takes an eternity to boot - more than 3 minutes for the initial BIOS startup. After boot everything works fine.
I flashed an older BIOS and found that with version 4.10 or older (3.90, 3.60) the problem does not appear.
Older BIOSes boot within a reasonable time and work perfectly.

Since newer BIOSes come with newer microcode I think I should use always the latest one.

Board model: X570PG Velocita
BIOS version: Beta 1.53
CPU: 3900X
RAM: F4-3600C18D-32GTZR

Notes:

Will NOT do FCLK of anything over 1800!!!
Bios 1.5 worked great all auto at 1900!

DO NOT Upgrade to 1.53!

Going back to 1.5 does not fix the issue either.

Board model: X570 Taichi
BIOS version: 3.80 and 4.0
CPU: 5600X
RAM: Crucial Ballistix BL8G36C16U4WL.M8FE1 (4 x 8GB)

Notes/Issues:
1. Board did not post even though BIOS was updated to 4.0 using a AMD 3000 series processor. Error code "0d". This was resolved by updating the same BIOS 4.0 using BIOS Flashback Button.
2. On board Power button and Reset Button do not light up when power button is pressed - Not resolved
3. Motherboard goes through one power cycle everytime i switch off and on the PSU. Then is boots successfully - Not Resolved.
