Just built my pc and everything works except i have no sound. I see the bar showing sound but nothing out of speakers. I tried different speakers, same thing. I even tried pluging into front jack.
After a few days of troubleshooting, i decided to get creative soundblaster audigy soundcard. Installed it and same thing, no sound! |

Adding to the info above, It all started after installing Nvidia P4000 Quadro...if this helps any

I removed the Quadro P4000 Nvidia card, re-formatted and sound worked. Re-installed P4000 video and no sound. I tried disabling all other sound devices but still no sound. Theres something about the Nvidia card/drivers that's effecting it, |
