Have you considered the BETA L1.19, dated Dec 16 2015, offered in the BETA Downloads section of your board?

I can't say either way if NVMe support is there yet it'd be incredulous if it isn't. The NON /3.1 BIOS is as far as I know are neck and neck to the /3.1 ed. boards. The only difference I'm aware is the additional 3.1 card. They added NVMe support to the NON boards beginning with their 1.80 release. EDIT: and their NON 3.1 NVME support was added back in Jan 2015, BIOS 1.70 or 1.80, depending.

If not, contact ASRock Tech Support at their Global site, as you didn't set your location, at http://event.asrock.com/tsd.asp

Keep us posted please.

I'm scratching my head after posting that.

Are you POSITIVE NVMe support is not there?

Why is is it you say that?

BIOS > Boot tab > CSM > Launch Storage OpROM Policy , set to UEFI Only

Save and Reboot, and the drive should now appear in the drive options list.
