OK so no matter what I do to change the multiplier on this board it won't go above 4.5ghz / 45x I am guessing because I got a b560 board and not an Z series board is this causing my issue£ Also I know it is 4.8 turbo but again it never goes above 4.5ghz

ASRock b560 Pro4
i5 10600k
Crucial Ballistix 3200mhz 2x8 and yes XMP is running at 3200.

Thanks for any help!

Hi Fury161,

Thank you for your post.

Please update the BIOS L1.61 and check the result. We optimized the Comet Lake CPU performance at this version.

The download link is below.
https://download.asrock.com/BIOS/1200/B560%20Pro4(L1.61)ROM.zip

I linked the instant flash SOP as below.

If you have other questions, please feel free to contact us.

All the best,
ASRock TSD

I had the original poster's issue (locked at 4.5ghz / 45x.)

The BIOS ROM linked by ASrock_TSD (L1.61) resolved this. My 10600k is now happily fluctuating upto 4.8ghz / 48x, as it should. Thank you.
