B450M-HDV R4.0 No Sound

   Just today I turn on the computer and no sound issue appeared.

Front and backports not working.

Disable and enable sound card, reinstall drivers, bios update/reset, fresh Windows 10 install, fresh Ubuntu install, different speakers, different headphones NOTHING Worked.

I googled the issue and apparently, I'm not the only one with this issue. The motherboard is less than 1 year old so I contacted Asrock support but before they will send it? new MOBO it will probably take weeks ..... 

Did anyone manage to fix this issue before?

	Sadly it does sound like (no pun intended.. it is pretty good though, heh) the audio chip has died. RMA is the only fix for this, or alternatively you can just grab yourself a PCI-E audio card the Xonar SE for example will give you a better experience than what that ALC887/897 can give you anyway.
