Checking to see if my Z390 Pro4 MB can run Win11 and it says NO.
I enabled Secure Boot but System Information says UNSUPPORTED. UEFI is enabled but SI says LEGACY. I don't know what other settings to check....help please. Thanks. E |

Hi egoshman,
Thank you for your post. Although Windows 11 has not yet been officially released. Microsoft has revealed that the system requires to have a minimum of Intel 8th Gen processor / AMD Zen+ processor to support Windows 11. Intel: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-intel-processors AMD: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-amd-processors In addition, to use Windows 11, the TPM function may be required. The fTPM function is available for all of the Intel 8th Gen processors / AMD Zen+ processors supported platforms. Please make sure to enable the fTPM function via the BIOS. You can refer to our FAQ (number 500) to enable it. https://www.asrock.com/support/faq.asp#FAQa500 Official announcements for Win11 are to be released after confirmation from Microsoft/Intel/AMD. In short, your Z390 Pro4 does support Windows11. Please make sure to enable the fTPM(Intel PTT) under BIOS to make the system ready for Win11 :) All the best ASRock TSD |
