Same Problem here.

I made a request to Asrock's support about this, they only replied that we support windows 10.

hello again
I came across many articles that esxi works fine in lower bios versions. The problem seems to be in version 1.70 but since I am using 5th generation processor I have to use this bios version example : https://sugimura.cc/posts/esxi_x300/ |

Tried to upgrade BIOS version of X300 with Ryzen 7 PRO 4750G, I found that 1.40 is the only version that runs ESXi 6.7. Both 1.60 and 1.70 versions crash with PSOD while ESXi initialising ACPI modules.

Guys, please provide the following information and I will forward your issue
to my contacts in ASRock's tech support department: 1. CPU 2. BIOS version(s) you have tested 3. Any settings you have tried changing in the BIOS 4. OS version 5. The exact error message you are encountering Also, if you could try running Ubuntu on a bootable flash drive and see if you get ACPI issues with that. If Ubuntu does not experience the issue then the problem is likely on ESXi's end and more specific information may be needed. |
