Hello everyone,
As soon as I resume my system from Idle state, if I do run any program, game or file from my secondary SSD it goes 100% disk usage and system totally hangs. Windows event log viewer shows the following: Storahci, ID 129, Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort0, was issued ID 51, An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk2\D during a paging operation (where Harddisk2 is my games ssd) System (OC 4.5Ghz @1,360Vcore, XMP1 3000Mhz): Intel Core i5 6600K Asrock Z170 Extreme4 2x8Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000Mhz Samsung 850EVO (os) Crucial M500 (games) 1Tb WD Red (storage) Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming EVGA Supernova GS 550W WORKAROUND: (source) By enabling "Adaptive" for HIPM and DIPM in advanced power states I've been able to fix the issue, this wasn't a solution but a workaround because in this condition my hard drives won't go low power consuption anymore, and I don't want it for a long-term system. SOLUTION: (source) I've been able to fix this issue by setting "Hot-Plug" in Bios for all my SSD & HDD (Asrock Z170 Extreme4). This seems to be related to Windows10 and the new ACHI technology, hope it helps! Edited by Coolshark - 02 Mar 2016 at 5:08pm |
