Currently I am on Bios version 6.40 and want to upgrade to 7.10
Do I have to install the version 7.00 (Bridge Bios) or can I directly flash the 7.10? By the way: Some more information about the bios versions would be nice. Greetings and thanks |

Hello,
Unless you are planning to use a 4000 or 5000 Series CPU, I would advise not to use the update. Newer is not automatically better, and it could have a negative impact on the performance of your current CPU. Before BIOS 7.10, you MUST use the bridge BIOS. best to reset the BIOS to default, with F9, save with F10, and thgen do a BIOS upgrade. |

Kind Regards
