I just purchased the phantom gaming d 6700xt. Two issues: as stated in the title, polychrome will not detect the GPU. The RGB is stuck on purple/blue which i believe are the opening colors of the RGB rainbow. Also, fan speed cannot be detected by monitoring software.
Motherboard (PG velocita) has most recent bios. Polychrome is on version 2.0.94 I had this exact same issue with my phantom gaming d 5700xt and was provided the below instructions and software. Is there a similar fix for this card? Regarding your question, kindly refer to the following: 1. Boot up the system and install the graphics card driver. 2. Download the following tool and unzip it. https://download.asrock.com/TSD/Desktop/RGBFW/GPU/RX5700XT_PGD.zip 3. Run command prompt as Administrator. 4. Go to the directory of where the tool is located. e.g. Type cd (Directory of the RX5700XT_PGD file) 5. Run the update tool by typing "Update_RX5700_PG.cmd" 6. The update process may take a while. 7. When the message "Update Pass" shows up, it means that the graphics card firmware has been flashed successfully. 8. Please turn on the RGB software and check if the RGB can be controlled properly. https://download.asrock.com/Utility/RGB/PolychromeRGB(v2.0.94).zip |

This only partially fixed the problem. Initially when i change the color on only the GPU, the Graphic Card LED defaults to all channels and i cannot unselect this. When i change the color only the top strip of LED changes colors. Fan LED and the RGB header on the card do not change colors.
Then when i select On Board LED and sync all products, all LEDS on the GPU do change color however, i now no longer have the ability to change the color of the GPU on its own without all products being synced |
