hello, my girl friend pc is the following :
Asrock B450M Pro4 [Latest Bios] Amd Ryzen 3600 [Cooler Master Masterliquid Ml120R Rgb] 16Gb Ddr4 3200Mhz Memory Samsung 950 Pro 512Gb Nvme 2x Kingston 240Gb Ssd Gigabyte Auros Rx 580 My problem is that im unsure what the Cooler Master Masterliquid Ml120R Rgb bios setting should be. Atm i have set the settings to : Cpu Fan 1 = Fulll Speed [Pump is Connected to this] Cpu Fan 2 = Cpu Fan 2 Control Mode : Auto | Cpu Fan 2 Setting : Silent | Cpu Fan 2 Temp Source : Monitor Do i need to change anything here, like the Cpu Fan 2 Setting : Silent to may performance or full speed or just standard? |

Just keep an eye on temps under load, if it's within spec for your CPU then you
can leave Fan 2 on silent. Make sure it is set to "Monitor CPU". If your temps are high then you can try switching it to standard. With a 3600 though I suspect you won't need to. On my own systems I tend to set a manual fan curve using ASRock's App in the OS. This way I can keep things silent under low load but allow things to really ramp up as the temps climb under load. I am using a Threadripper though so it's a little more necessary to manually tweak things for optimal silence/performance. If you are coming in under 70c under high load you are good |

When using cinebench r15/r20/r23 the temps are between 65-70 degrees not over.
Idle is between 30-35 depending on the temp inside most of the time 32 degrees tho. when with the stock cooler in cinebent r15/r20/r23 it was at 80-85 with max out fan speed. It is correct to let the pump run at full speed like cooler master wrote to me? |

I always have my pump at full speed. There are conflicting theories on this out there
but I have always used full speed. My AIO has been running practically 24/7 for the last 5 years without issue so clearly it must work Those temps are great, keep it like it is. AIO high CFM fans tend to get noisy if you don't run a silent/custom profile so it's good your temps are under control without needing higher fan speeds. It would have been fine even if you peaked at 80 in CB r15/20/23. CB loads the CPU more than any typical task you may use the machine for. I hope your girlfriend enjoys her new PC |
