Hi,

today i found Informations about X99 Bios Updates for all Asrock Mainboards to support new Broadwell-E CPU´s.
Will be new X99 Boards released for Broadwell or its all  done with updating the current Boards ?
I ask because i want to update my current PC Setup (Z77 + 2600k) & was waiting for new Boards.

Regards Oliver

I can't say for certain but I wouldn't imagine that there will be any new X99 boards for Broadwell-E. While it may be possible a few new variants or revisions might surface I doubt they will offer anything new over current offerings. I would love to be wrong and see a new series of boards but I just don't see the market for it given all existing X99 boards are already Broadwell-E compatible.

Perhaps ASRock is waiting for the Computex 2016 trade show in Taipei, Taiwan, to release any new X99 boards. The show begins at the very end of May.

That is only speculation, I have no knowledge of any new X99 boards.

At Computex 2015, the updated ASRock Fatal1ty X99X Killer/3.1 won a COMPUTEX d&i award 2015 in the gaming hardware category.

Personally, an updated version of the ASRock X99E-ITX/ac would be interesting.

As of the date of this post, April 24, 2016 Intel has not released the Broadwell-E processors.
