Hi!
I'm having problems with the fan of my CPU. It always cycles at more than 3300 RPM and generates some noise. It doesn't matter if I enter BIOS or boot Windows, it always runs at full speed. This is my system: - Motherboard: AsRock H81M-VG4 - Processor: Intel Pentium G3250, Socket 1150LGA - CPU Cooler/Fan: Intel Stock E41998-002 "Delta" - No case fans or GPU fans - RAM: 12 GB DDR3 - Internal GPU - Windows 10 - All latest AsRock .INF drivers have been installed What I have tried already: - In BIOS: - I set the CPU fan from "standard" to "silent", no difference - I updated the BIOS to version 1.5, nothing happens. I have also updated to the beta version 1.7 but I still cannot control the fan speed. - Installed A-Tuning and performed a test with "FAN-tasting Tuning". The table of results show that at 10% the fan speed is 3384 RPM and so on until 100% with 3402 RPM. All the percentages are similar, always above 3300RPM. Changing the points in the graph and clicking "apply" has no effect at all. - I installed "SpeedFan" to see if I could change something, but nothing seems to have any effect. Please, your help will be greatly appreciated. |
