fancontrol freeware = https://github.com/Rem0o/FanControl.Releases

I used it for a while, quite good, but one fan couldn't sync, for me anyway, may be all fans sync for you.

Good to hear you moved forward, that was the original plan.

you can try A-Tuning from x470 as well as x570. I use A-Tuning from x570 now :) on my physical x370 crossflashed x470 4.90[beta agessa 1.2.0.7] with 3800x only.

ram speed various users mitigate via
1) boot with single stick
2) set to XMP or overclock or manual tuning or whatever you like
3) shutdown
4) boot with dual stick
and most users solve via this way, you can read other threads, many mentioned this.

So i used this method and instead of going back I went forward. Got to 7.10 and it works, boots up and bios work again. Tried the new cpu and it works. However A-Tuning no longer works and says it can't detect compatible hardware which means I no longer have software that controls case fans. And then I found out that 2 sticks of my ram won't run past 2133mhz.... so this is a fabulous week....

Might just use the new board and order new ram and maybe just GIVE this old board to my sister to use.

If I were in your situation now, I would try ??rd last resort?to remove all items from mobo then press the reset buttom plus the clear cmos jumper and remove battery.i.e. remove CPU, GPU, RAM, SSD, everything removed then press reset button remove battery use jumper. Then use 1800x with minium VGA, RAM, without SSD to boot into UEFI, fringers cross, good luck.

[2nd last resort]
but a bios flasher cable
example 1 = https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z09.2.0.0.6bb32e8d0FGOdM&id=571842034657&_u=jb8lko63a4a

example 2 = https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001296112767.html

both links are dedicated ASRock bios flash (very convenient), not universal for other brands.

[last resort]
bring mobo to local ASRock dealer, I'd bet they would flash for your free of charge.

Bios flasher method could be cool to try, too bad It'll take over a month to get here.

Here they explain many way for update the BIOS, one is via DOS, so maybe you can skip BIOS main page totally.

This method was no longer available after 2.0. And once to 5.6 you could not longer flash back before that. The files now are no longer .exe dos files or windows files.

This may solve the "i can't acces the BIOS" problem

You can't anymore. Not after 2.0. There is not .exe DOS flashable files anymore.
