Games do crash CX at any memory speeds faster than 2667. Just had a beautiful flight around Rio at sunset in MS Flight Simulator at 2667, which is my main goal in this search...but hopeful that I can get the memory up to it's xmp rated speed 3200.

Is it only games that crash?
Try a memory stress test: https://memtest.org/

Correct, seems as if I can play youtube all night at 2667 on auto., but MSFS would benefit considerably from a faster memory speed.

Strangely, my Ryzen 5 5600 seems to flutter between running at 3600 and 4450 while running youtube, a tad fast according to spec,,?

need to see your zentiming screenshots to check many many parameters in order to diagnose problem.

no zentming screenshot = no way to help you.

try this https://imgbb.com/

or various photo hosting website .....

or simply upload as a file, we could download and view it. It's not about viewing in this forum page, hence as long as we can provide a link to download it is also OK.

else write all the things down by hand :) personally I wouldn't, too easy to slip in a mistake when typing so many similar parameters.....

After crashing a number of times at XMP, I've gotten my ram up to 2800 using the timings in the xmp profile and running it at 1.28 Mhz volts. Runs Microsoft Flight Simulator quite well in ultra. Would be nice to at least get 3000 though. Next step is messing with voltages of the memory controller I'm thinking...

Is there any reason you're not going straight to 1.35V ??

I don't know exactly which Vengeance model you have, since there are so many, and it probably isn't even that important because Corsair would just use whatever brand it can buy for cheap (Samsung/Micron/SKHynix/...).

But one of the specs for a 8GB Vengeance model I found on Corsair's own page says 2133 15-15-15-36 1.2V (base) and 3200 16-20-20-38 1.35V.
