Wondering if anyone had some advice.

New build (windows 11).
7800X3D, B650E Taichi Lite, 3090FE.

Got the G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO EXPO ram, 2 x 32GB of F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5NR, based on listed compatability on pcpartpicker.

After setting up, however, I have an incrediably unstable system.
Running currently at standard rates (2400 rather than 3000), which is way more stable than EXPO 3000, but still randomnly crashes and resets bios.

Have also tested a single DIMM and run extensive memtest86 - nothing fundamentally wrong with the RAM itself, but its still crashing.

Updated to newest bios, but since the RAM is not listed as tested by ASRock, I am guessing this is a compatability issue.

Thinking of mayble trying to manually set the CAS rates and speed to match another module that was tested, but maybe I am better to try and find a different set of DIMMS :(

Any advice gladly received,
Thanks,
Rich.

Update from AsRock technical support:

Disable Memory Context Restore (OC Tweaker)
Disable Power Down Enable (Advanced > AMD CBS > DDR Options > DDR COntroller Configuration > DDR Power Options)

Not tried either yet, reset CMOS yesterday after last failure.
Will try both, but Memory Context Restore will increase boot times substantially!

Update:

Have been working with ASRock technical support in NL (who were outstanding, I might add), managed to get EXPO stable running the newest BIOS update that was just released.

If anyone has any similar problems, first port of call should be the newest BIOS :)

Thanks for the update ubiquity, ASRock's tech support staff are great to deal with.
I have never had a bad experience with them going back long before I became a moderator
here.

Enjoy the build
