My system is
ASRock B450M HDV 4.0 8x2 DDR4 RAM. Ryzen 5 5600. 600W High Power PSU. MSI 4060 Ti. Brands and models of RAM are as follows: XPG Gammix D10 AX4U32008G16A-SR10 8GB (1x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz CL16. Neo Forza nmUD480E82-3200DB11 8 GB DDR4 3200 MHz CL16 RAM. The chip manufacturers of both RAMs are Hynix. There are 2 RAM slots on the motherboard. When I tried both RAM and 2 slots separately, they work without any problems at 3000 MHz with XMP turned on. However, when I try it in Dual channel, even if I swap the RAMs with each other and reduce the MHz to 2133, when I open a heavy game, the computer shuts down within 5 minutes without any warning and the power is cut off immediatly. What can I do about this? |

Based on limited information, I suspect the power supply.
I know 600W should be enough for R5-5600 + 4060Ti, but is it a legit rating? What brand? How old? Can you try single DIMM, but run full load (Prime95 + Furmark) and see if it dies the same way? If it does, the power supply becomes even more suspect. |
