Beebox w/ audio stuttering in Linux. Help

   Hello all I need some help.  I have two beebox nucs (n3000) one with mint 17 and one with Ubuntu 16 both are experiencing stuttering audio, and both had been previously working correctly.  No changes to hardware.  They were both kodi htpcs and would play streaming video and local DVD video... Now the video seems to play fine but the audio track stutters to the point of almost no sound.  

YouTube with play the video fine but the audio stutters there also.  I have reinstalled to bare is and still have the same issue.  YouTube stutters on both Firefox and chrome.  I have tried both HDMI ports and have the same result. Tried digital stereo and 5.1 and same stuttering result 

Need help

	I would post on the Ubuntu and mint forums and see what help you can get there. If once you have exhausted all options regarding drivers etc you still have a problem return here and post a link to your threads and we can see what else can be done to help you. I am no expert with linux but I have used it long enough to know that things like this are usually caused by bad packages or corruption. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
