With any card from nvidia does not rise to 2.0. After turning off and turning on your PC falls to 1.1. I did not fall until the first shutdown. That is, if all is OK to restart, but if you turn off and then turn on, then pcie is defined as 1.1. Today I will take radeon r9 280x and try it. By the way I have above 225 bus fails to disperse!

What is your processor? I have a fx8350 even when picked up core voltage and North Bridge is similar does not take up 225. But for the multiplier to overclock if that unlike processor holds a 4.4 on the standard voltage! I think I still have some sort of problem with the motherboard bios after all the problems start when I try to overclock the busRemember that overclocking you overclock the bus and memory! Put the memory frequency below. Also see that the north bridge would not be higher than 2200, and HT 2200, 2400.

if u have issues with fsb at 225 then dont overclock fsb then? your mobo might not be up to it.
ive had 890fx chipset before (Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5) and it could go to 263fsb max
870 is not teh highend, its actually at the bottom of 800 series...hence mobo components are cheap

btw u cant lock pci-e frequency? my old 890fx could do that
