Good day! For some reasons H270M Pro4 and Z270M Pro4 boards are missing a vital functionality - readable sensors data (from Nuvoton NCT6683D-T) - via aida64, hwmonitor and etc. Also there's no A-tuning app - neither on disk, nor in the respective download section on website. Can someone clarify when monitoring will be available? Thanks

F-Stream (A-Tuning for Fatal1ty banded boards) only came out for the Z270 Gaming K6 several weeks after it launched. I am sure A-Tuning will become available for the Z270M sometime soon, not sure about the H270M but likely for that too.

The 200 series are still very new and as such will likely be receiving BIOS and software updates for a while before things settle.

I highly doubt sensor data is "missing" from the boards you listed. While more budget oriented boards like those you listed may not have as extensive sensor data readings as more expensive boards do, your claim that the data is missing needs to be examined more closely.

But before I do that, about the missing A-Tuning program, have you installed your board's APP Shop program, and looked for the equivalent utility there? It's possible that it is there now, but simply not yet included on the download pages.

It looks like the Nuvoton chip the boards you listed are using are different than other ASRock boards, and seemingly new models. That might explain why AIDA64 and HWMonitor are apparently not reading the sensor data (I cannot verify that since I don't own the boards you listed. My Z270 GK6 board has 95% of the sensor readings I get from a high end board like the Z170 Extreme7+.)

While there is some PC hardware data that can be easily retrieved, monitoring programs must be specifically programmed to read sensor data. Even new processor and chipset generations can require programming changes to read data items. The Intel Haswell series of processors is a perfect example of that, with their internal (to the processor) VCore voltage regulators. Also, most monitoring programs simply read the processor VIDs and label it VCore, the two being related but certainly not the same thing.

If any monitoring program is up to date with reading sensor data, it will be HWiNFO64:

I have the same board (Z270m Pro4) and have already tried HWiNFO64. It gave the same result as other monitoring tools: no RPM, no voltage and no MB temperature readings. Inside BIOS all values are available.

Interesting, my theory about the sensor chip (Nuvoton NCT6683D-T)  must be correct. I have not seen that sensor chip model used anywhere by ASRock in the past.

This is an unusual situation, I can't think of this happening with any other ASRock board. The HWiNFO programmer normally adds support for various sensor chips. You could post about this in his forum.

This would also explain the missing ASRock monitoring utility. If you run APP Shop, you don't see any monitoring program listed? APP Shop only includes the programs applicable to the board in the PC, so we cannot see what is listed if we don't have a specific board.

Yes, there's no A-tuning app in the App Shop, unfortunately (I have z270m Pro4). Also I've recently found a similar topic on Aida64 forum - they say that this Nuvoton chip is very uncommon too. I've already sent a message about this issue to the support (apprx 2 weeks ago), but they didn't respond.

Sadly, A-tuning seems to be the only app that is able to read the fan sensors.

Has anyone found an alternative that will provide a graph over time?  I've tried the latest versions of the following apps:

Speedfan - can't detect memory information, and has incorrect labels for fans (I've sent the dev a report)
CPUID hwmonitor - can't detect fans and doesn't have graphing capability
AIDA64 - can't detect fans and doesn't have graphing capability

While OCCT provides graphs, it doesn't include fan information.

Did you try HWiNFO64? I can't say I know it will work with your board's sensor chip, but IMO it is the best overall dedicated monitoring program. It's developer adds support for new boards and platforms all the time. If he can get information about the sensor chip, or figures out how to do it on his own, he'll add support for it. Examples of that can be found in the News page on his website, more so in the history link on that page.

Thanks, that one was new to me.  It can detect everything I'm interested in (clock speeds, fans and temps) and has graphs.  It's misreading pretty much all voltages, but I'm not concerned about those.

One thing to note is that launching A-tuning while hwinfo is running disables hwinfo's ability to read fan speeds LOL
