9211-8i huh? I have a few of 'em.

What are you doing?? Upflashing the LSI FW or cross-flashing to achieve non-RAID IT Mode?

I have the ASRock 990FX Extreme9 MPOBO and need to flash the BIOS in my LSI SAS9211-8I  controller card. I've been informed that I need to boot into EFI. I have all the necessary files on a DOS bootable formatted USB pendrive but at this point I'm totally lost and need the instructions for dummies. When I power on the system and press F11 I see that there is an option for the UEFI Shell. I've selected it, several screens of text appears and finally a Shell prompt. At this point I don't know how to access the pendrive and execuite the sas2flash.efi nor do I know if I'm in the correct function to execute the file.

If this is not the correct area to post this request please tell me where I should post.

As I stated above, I'm totally lost and need instructions for dummies. Confused
