I have a Taichi x370w/ Ryzen 1700 and updated the bios with increased XMP support (1.54) ; I then disabled SMT to check gaming performance. Now windows won't recognize 16 cores even though I toggle SMT off and on and have rebooted multiple times.Furthermore, I have loaded UEFI defaults multiple times and no change!!! Anybody else experience this!? If so ,How did you fix?

Try the "AMD Ryzen Master Overclocking and Tuning Utility". You could also try clearing CMOS via the jumper on your board. Just be sure to pull power from the system first.
