    Posted: 19 Mar 2017 at 4:34am
I have motherboard FM2A88M Extreme4 + R2.0 and shows me high CPU package temperatures above 90 ° C under a load and about 50 ° C in idle ...

in same time
A-tuning shows CPU temperature about 33 ° C and in the load does not exceed 55 °C.

It's a mistake, or is it ok  temperatures?
Cooling paste is applied well, Wraith cooler cools the CPU Athlon x4 880K enough ...

Sorry for my bad English, thank you!

Your English is just fine.

Where / in what do you see the package at 90 and idle at 50 ?

Electronics should tolerate these temperatures, right or not?
I read somewhere that electronics are built for temperatures around 100 ° C, but I have some concerns ...

Thank You!

The processer you have should be no more than 63 underload. It is fm2+ CPU so I would use amd overdrive to get temps as this is a new socket, some readings can be way off on hwmonitor etc I'm guessing these have improved as my a10 6800k showed up in hwmonitor as -27 deg

But any how you sir are running hot way to hot , yes these can take high temps but don't expect it to last forever
100 deg and your PC will shut down to self protect if not before or your CPU explodes.
What is your cooling ATM? Water / air

I use cooler supplied with the processor, so the Near Silent solution from AMD (like a Wraith cooler), he should have a sufficiently powerful CPU temperature ... turn out to be correct, the only high temperature is the item called "package CPU temperature," which scares me a little ... :-) but PC works perfectly ... maybe i only wasting your time ... if yes, sorry guys... :-)

I did have a look at that stock cooler, it was reviewed with a 8370 and got no more than 70 underload. I would be double checking all, even triple checking.

This CPU cooler will/should do for stock speeds but don't expect anything great. You most certainly won't be able to over clock at all.

Make sure you only run one temp monitor per time. Check you have not applied to much paste. It is seated correctly and the fan is in the correct 3-4pin plug. honestly use amd overdrive for temps mine were well off in all others.

If you have triple checked all. take the side off your case and place a huge desk fan blowing in does it improve?
