    Posted: 30 Mar 2017 at 2:33am
I updated my BIOS from 1.44 to 2.2 (1.5 UEFI) and afterwards i did not post or boot.

- I tried to supply 2.2 and 1.44 Bios Via USB stick.

After this i was tining it may be my fault for doing it wrong. So i got a second AsRock AB350 Pro 4.
Moved all hardware to 1.3Bios all working.

Flashed 2.2 same result no post/boot.

- is there a way to recover from this.
- Can i connect to BIOS_PH and flash via SPI ? I have some Flash tools and a Rasbery PI.

CPU Ryzen 1700
RAM 16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4-2400 DIMM CL10 Dual Kit (CMD16GX4M2B2400C10)

System was working on
-1.3 (Stock) working
-1.43 working
-1.44 working
-2.2 no post

Now i have 2 no post ASrock AB350 Pro 4 this is a a real bummer.

Ouch...I am sorry about that. I was just about to update...looks like ill hold off until they fix this.

I dont think they have a removable bios on this board, you may have to RMA. I believe since it was an official bios they will replace it.

Glad I read this.  Sorry that you took the bullet for us but I planned to finish up my build tonight and certainly would have updated to the latest BIOS in the process.

Can I ask if you went with the DOS or Instant Flash method?

I decided to try the Windows BIOS flash on the AB350 Fatality gaming kit motherboard last night after the build was done.  While it was running I kept all of my fingers and toes crossed :)

The process completed without issue.

Unfortunately the only thing you can do without voiding warranty is RMA. I wouldn't advise trying to manually flash your board, if it does not work your warranty my not be honored. If it was a removable ROM then I would say go for it but in this instance I am not sure what the policy is.

I updated the BIOS (From within the BIOS) on out B350 Fatality K4 to 2.20. I have not tested any of the new features, but it boots in to Windows 10 with no issues.

No problem here to update from 1.44 to 2.2 by the bios (copy file on usb key, go to bios)

With the bios 1.44 my  RAM G.Skill Ripjaws V Kit 2x8GB DDR4-3200 CL16-18-18-38 (F4-3200C16D-16GVKB) was limited @2133 11-11-11-28

With the bios 2.2 it boot on @2400 12-13-13-32
