How to determine kabylake compatibility?

   I am not aware of any code or text on the mother board box that will indicate if a Kaby Lake processor compatible UEFI/BIOS version has been installed in the board at the factory.

As clubfoot said, the only way I'm aware of is to check the sticker on the UEFI/BIOS chip on the board. You would need at least a version 7.10 firmware in the board for Kaby Lake support, as shown in this board's CPU support list:

It would be great if a sticker was put on the box indicating Kaby Lake support for any of the Intel 100 series chipset boards, but I have never seen that.

	I would say no. You would have to look at the sticker on the BIOS chip to know what it comes with.

	is there any information on the motherboard box of an ASROCK H110M HDV where it says that is already updated bios and ready for kabylake processor? Edited by kevs926 - 26 Apr 2017 at 6:40am
