hello everybody
just made a new build with this mobo and fx8350 other parts are 2x8gb hyper x 1866 modules and asus r7 250x graphic card my psu is bequiet 400 watt and 2 ssd drives i run the system and all i get is power at the fans and nothing else .. hhd led reset button all work ok but the system is not booting.. Tried cmos reset , battery removal, all power plug combinations (atx 20 pin > 24 pin) ( atx12v 4 pin > 8pin) i have no usb power on and also no power on anything at the back panel any ideas?? thanks in advance

well, i saw another thread here about ram on this board and a moderator said that the qvl is old and an 8 gb stick will work fine , but according to the present QVL then, no my ram is not supported
But honestly this QVL shows a a couple of dozen supported ram of 1 and 2 gigs which is not very 2017

The 970 chipset is odd in some different ways. What is the PN of the ram you have? |

thanks a lot for reply...after some more searching i foun that ram work only at red rails ..finally the pc booted but i see that on a userbenchmark are clocked at 933mhz.. is there any set up i can try on oc panel for this

DDR = Double Data Rate so:
933 x 2 = 1866 Your RAM is working perfectly.
