Some board + memory combos don't like XMP.
Reset the CMOS, enter the BIOS and choose 3200MHz as the DRAM MHz. Let us know how that goes. |

Thanks. I'll give it a go with the CMOS clear.
The main reason I bought this ram is that there was a review on this mobo on newegg stating that it loaded the profile and worked straight away... :/ |

Holy crap it works.
I re-read the tips thread here and it states "A2 and B2" for slots. I don't understand why this is so, but it freakin' works. Loading the XMP sets my latency and speed as expected: https://valid.x86.fr/qjg3e2 If anyone wants to enlighten me I'll read it! Cheers.

I wrote the Tips Sticky you read. I wrote it partly because no one reads their User Manual See pg22 of the User Manual you received. And here also http://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/Fatal1ty%20AB350%20Gaming%20K4/index.asp#Specification Amazing things, User Manuals I'm happy to hear you feel good of ASRock and G.Skill. |
